Sanctuary Tree House Guest Comments Thank
you so much for giving us the opportunity to stay in the tree house
last weekend. Despite the fact that we had such a late arrival, you
made sure that everything was in place for an unforgettable stay.
From taking the time to gather the wood for the wood stove, to putting
out the map, and finally, coming out to great us upon our arrival,
you went above and beyond what I would have expected from you. The
same can be said about the tree house. To say that I loved it is an
understatement. Throughout the weekend I repeatedly said "Even
what I imagined for a perfect weekend didn't live up to this."
The weather was gorgeous, the view out over the river was breathtaking,
and the serene campgrounds were picturesque. I definitely hope to
visit again, and will be recommending the Tree House to everyone who
will listen. Many
thanks, Thank you for
your hospitality. We enjoyed the nice and wild place as well as the
canoes. It was super. We were kind of cold at night, but in the morning
we turned on the heat. We slept well at night because we had lots of
space- It was a very
nice break from the city. Very well done- It is with a touch
of regret that Jill and I are leaving the tree house today. We came
here for my birthday; and while it was a complete surprise for me, Jill
also did not fully know what to expect. What we found here was serenity,
an opportunity to reclaim lost time, and the best birthday I have ever
had. Thank you for letting us stay, and we are proud to count this among
our favorite adventures- We came here for
a couple of days for peace and serenity and found so much more! The
tree house was a great idea and it is very romantic. Can you believe
it has two floors? Dave was able to catch our meals right out of the
river. He had a lot of fun since he and I are both so busy with our
jobs back in Raleigh. Don and Gail are great hosts. We want to return
and do this again. Dave may return to do deer hunting. Thanks for the
wonderful experience. We hope to return again- We are two artists
from Atlanta and unexpectedly had a wonderful four days. We decided
to stop in the Valley at this spot. It was windy with hints of rain
and all the color you could stand. We canoed our first day; fighting
the current during the sunset. We went on a day long hike on our second
day. That was not easy going 11 miles, but wow. The beauty was endless.
And the tree house felt safe and cozy. Did I mention it was our second
wedding anniversary? Thank you, Don and Gail. We'll remember this for
a long time- |
