Country Place Camp is primitive and our campers enjoy:
1. having either or both the base camp with kitchen/hot showers/flush
toilets and the river front sites (with Portapotty facilities, no water
or electricity) exclusively for their group;
2. being in the midst of the surrounding George Washington National Forest
with private river front;
3. renting canoes, kayaks, tubes and rafts at adjacent Shenandoah River
Wildlife and insects are all part of rustic camping in the woods. There
are no modern, enclosed camping facilities. All camping, water, and wilderness
